Introduction
The Carbon Game is an online simulation. It provides an exciting stimulus for students to learn about real solutions to climate change. In the game teams of students play Carbon Traders, buying and selling carbon in a European market. By giving carbon a price, the game shows in a fun and interactive way how carbon emissions can be reduced.
The game takes about 30 minutes to play. During the game teams from schools throughout Europe will play against each other. Games take place at set dates, see the Next Games link for details.
By using the game you will be exposing your students to real solutions to tackle climate change, providing interactive learning, developing a critical understanding of climate change and putting our school on the European map.
